Is MyApp Studio free?
Yes, you can start for free: every account can build a limited number of apps at no cost, and the app shows how many you have left. If you want to build more, the app shows any options available to you, such as a paid plan.
What kinds of apps can it build?
Data-driven personal apps: trackers, checklists, logs, inventories, reading lists, timers, and dashboards — with tables, forms, lists, grids, and charts. Apps can even call on AI themselves while you use them — like looking up nutrition facts as you type in a food, or turning a list of ingredients into recipe steps.
Is there anything it won't build?
Yes — it's upfront about its limits. Things like 3D games, audio synthesis, or apps that need their own external server database are outside what it does, and it tells you that instead of producing something broken.
Is my data private?
Your apps and everything in them live in your own account, apart from the shared parts of any group app you create or join. Nothing is shared unless you explicitly choose to share it or to use a group app with other people. See our Privacy Policy for details.
When can I get it, and is it on iPhone?

Do I need to know how to code?
No. Describe what you want in plain English — typed or spoken — and MyApp Studio designs and builds it for you.
Does my app run on my phone, or in the cloud?
Directly on your phone. Once it's built, your app installs and runs on-device — not a webpage reloaded from a server every time you open it — so everyday use works even offline. You'll need a connection while you're actively describing or changing it, and for any AI-powered action inside the app (like a nutrition lookup) each time you use it, since those call out to AI live.
Can I share an app with someone else?
Yes, via a share link you send to the people you choose. It isn't listed or searchable anywhere, though anyone you give it to can open it or pass it on. Sharing sends a copy: the recipient gets their own private version of the app, separate from yours, and any private data you kept in your own copy stays there and isn't included. You can also build a group MyApp: one app your household, team or club uses together, with shared lists that update for everyone.
Does the person I send an app to need MyApp Studio?
Yes. They install MyApp Studio and sign in, and the app arrives in their inbox as their own copy. The same goes for everyone in a group MyApp: each person has their own account, so the app knows who added what.
Do I need a laptop, or to publish my app anywhere?
No. You build, run and share every app from your phone, and there's nothing to publish: your app runs inside MyApp Studio, and the people you send it to get it inside theirs.
